Assessments
Assessments often form part of an interview, or are conducted alongside them, especially in application processes which require applicants to possess specific, easily demonstrable skills, such as being able to code in a certain programming language.
EDI best practice encourages you to:
- invite requests for adjustments,
- provide applicants with transparent scoring criteria
- clearly communicate what will be required of applicants during the assessment in advance
Finally, at the end of the assessment, communicate both when and how your applicants can expect to realistically hear a decision, and whether you will provide feedback.
