You should provide guidance to your applicants when you require other supporting documentation to ensure they do not face invisible barriers when putting together their application documents , such as:
- Cover letter
- Personal statement
- Evidence of how the essential and desirable criteria are met
- Writing sample
- Research Proposal
Even if something seems obvious to you, for someone with a different background it may not be. You could also consider pointing to your named contact for applicants to direct queries specific to supporting documentation.
