Another important ongoing support resource is the workplace passport. This is more relevant to job applicants but you could signpost funding applicant awardees to this information as it may be relevant to team members they recruit.
This tool is designed to reduce the burden on a new employee during their time at your institution, and it is possible they could take it with them to future roles. In brief, they are designed to structure and record conversations about support and adjustments between you and your successful applicant.
Adjustments often change over time so it is helpful to have a record to refer back to see what has worked in the past when agreeing new adjustments. This also reduces the burden on the passport holder when transitioning to a new role and requesting the same adjustments. You can invite your successful applicants to share their workplace passports with you or establish a new one together.
