Your EDI Policy
Does your company or institution have an EDI policy?
- If so, consider adding this to your application process documents and resources.
- Share it with potential applicants, your advisory board member(s), your named contact, and anyone else you come into contact with in relation to the application process.
Do you not have an existing EDI policy? Or is the existing policy insufficient for your purposes?
- Consider creating a policy yourself!
- ACAS (the UK Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) have a free template you can use to begin with, and you could read examples of EDI policies to help write yours.
- Your EDI policy can include examples of protected characteristics and your procedures for addressing complaints.
